In my opinion, RMT is inevitable and it’s not an activity which a government can ban. It's already a
mainstream in
Recently, Korean government is focusing on
how to impose a tax to farmer’s RMT activities (*people
who are living with the income after selling their virtual products which are
obtained in game) but not light gamers. Not only imposing taxes but trying to ‘save people who are drowned in virtual world’ to let them find something more constructive things from real
world.
On 1997, Korean government had a financial
shock and due to IMF, lot of people lost their job. Such people who lost their
job wanted a virtual life where they can forget of their desperate reality.
Very soon, RMT became a trend in
“Enjoying a blackjack game in a casino with enough self discipline aren’t a big problem but spending whole of your money and your time playing blackjack hoping you would win all the money which you have lost doesn’t look as a sound person.”
I’m not sure
what exactly our government’s intention but if they are
intending to help people I’m supporting our government.
Besides of imposing heavy taxes in order to ban their activities, our
government should increase their rehab facilities so that those people could
get some consult and constructive ideas to start a new life in real world.
